UCSF employees can make a tax-deductible contribution by Dec. 18, 2016.

Interested employees can make tax-deductible contributions as one-time gifts or via recurring payroll deductions. Gifts can be made to virtually any program or department at UCSF; each contribution makes a significant impact on helping UCSF’s goal of redefining possible.

Over the last five years, donations from nearly 5,000 faculty and staff members have helped fund research, patient care initiatives, scholarships and capital projects.

In addition, UCSF’s partnership with Community Health Charities of California allows faculty and staff to make contributions to hundreds of external charitable organizations.

In a message to the UCSF community, Chancellor Sam Hawgood, MBBS, said: “UC San Francisco’s educators, researchers, administrative staff and scholars all share a common purpose: We are here to make positive change. I invite you to take part in the 2016 UCSF Employee Giving Program.”

The 2016 Annual Campaign runs through Dec. 18, but staff and faculty can participate in the Employee Giving Program any time throughout the year.
