Naomi Hoffer: Supporting and Sustaining Cancer Healing
As Program Manager for the Cancer Resource Center, Naomi Hoffer is deeply embedded in the world of cancer supportive care. Their team continually assesses new pathways to sustained healing and whole-person support.
The Center provides many “lifestyle” services like meditation, yoga, exercise, nutrition, and emotional support, along with practical forms of support and information including lodging guides and workplace rights. Naomi is enthusiastic about one new offering: “I’m thrilled that we now offer coaching services to our patients with cancer.” She sees this and all their team’s patient services as profoundly helpful in providing people the guidance to find and fortify the deeper roots to long-term health and well-being.
We are driven by the idea that when the best research, the best education and the best patient care converge, great breakthroughs are achieved. We pursue this excellence through our people. We are all UCSF, united by a driving passion to solve the most challenging health issues of our time and to redefine what's possible. Join the conversation at www.ucsf.edu/oneUCSF.
