Mount Zion Housing

Following the necessary upgrades to this building, UCSF will be able to provide 71 units of slightly below market rentals to faculty. The Bay Area continues to be one of the most expensive places to live in the United States and the only way we can continue to attract the “best and brightest” to UCSF is by offering slightly below market rental housing to our faculty and students. Though recently renovated, 2130 Post Street does not meet UC’s rigorous seismic standards, therefore  construction to strengthen the building is underway.
