Jess Berthold, senior public information representative at UCSF, has worked in communications and journalism for more than 20 years. Starting as a reporter for Dow Jones Newswires and the Allentown Morning Call, she moved to writing and editing publications at the American College of Physicians, where she realized her love for all things health and medicine. A move to the Bay Area led to communications director positions at First 5 Association of California and the Prevention Institute. Jess holds Masters degrees in Journalism and Public Health, and a Bachelor's in English and Psychology.
